Year-long Doll Process:
The Way of the Doll is as much a spiritual journey as it is a creative one. It incorporates mythology and magic, depth psychology, alchemy, sculpture, poetry, and storytelling.
Be one of ten people who will participate in the Way of the Doll transformational process.
Make a mythic doll, and restore your dream. Awaken your creativity, and experience the depth and the power of collaborative work.
Weekly Form: Meet with the same group one night a week for 2.5 hours over the course of a year.
Monthly Form: Meet with the same group for a three-day weekend intensive once a month for a year.
There will be scheduled breaks throughout each Year-long form.
The process includes training in porcelain figure sculpture, mixed media, painting, costuming, storytelling, creative writing, depth psychology, dream tending, and ritual. No previous art experience is necessary. Class size is limited to ten.
Classes are held in Oakland California. Cost for Year-long classes: $350.00 per month. Total year tuition: $4000.00 ($400.00 materials and administrative fee included)
